The cattery, from its origins up today, has always pursued the aim of spreading this breed in Italy, and has always considered its cats as members of the family, where they live happily integrated, but free, well attended to and protected, to offer the best for those who later on have followed with love the spreading og the "MAINE COON CATS".

Since the beginning of 1984-85, "LillyCoon's" has been greatly acknowledged, and to guarantee the selection of the breed, its Standard of Perfection and character, it has combined the best American and European bloodlines, in order to maintain the precious genetic heritage that is typical of this wonderful cat abd that must not be lost!

LILIA GOLFARELLI has been the first in Italy to be admitted in the most exclusive America club for Maine Coon breeders. She is now an official breeder of the "Maine Coon Breeders and Fanciers Association", which includes the main AMERICAN ASSOCIATIONS.
